Residential Garage Door Openers
Wayne-Dalton offers two styles of residential garage door openers; the classic ceiling mount and our exclusive wall-mount design.
Wall Mount
Wall mount garage door openers are a Wayne-Dalton innovation. By mounting the opener on the wall above your door, we eliminate the belts, chains, or screw drive, along with the rail that clutters your garage ceiling. That means less noise and vibration are transferred to the living areas.
iDrive Garage Door Opener
The iDrive® residential garage door opener is the most technologically advanced design in the industry. It mounts directly to the wall above your door! This saves space and looks very clean.
This model is engineered to work on Wayne-Dalton pinch-resistant steel doors equipped with the Torque Master® counterbalance system. If you want to identify whether your garage door has Torque Master, look for a sealed tube above your garage door. If the spring is exposed, then its not Torque Master.
